MEET DR JAG SHERGILL
Dr Shergill is a Leo by name and nature. His middle name is Singh, which means lion. A typical Leo, Dr Shergill is passionate, caring, generous and honest—attributes that he brings to his professional and personal life.
Dr Jag Shergill is the founder, owner and lead implant dentist of Coventry-based Shergill Dental Implants. He has been a dentist for over 30 years and considers dentistry his passion and vocation. During his long and successful career, Dr Shergill has helped more than 10,000 patients to eat, drink and smile with confidence—most recently with the revolutionary All-on-4® treatment. The All-on-4® procedure uses a single acrylic bridge placed on four dental implants and can be fitted in a single session.

A RENOWNED UK ALL-ON-4® EXPERT
Dr Shergill was one of the first UK dentists to research and receive training on the All-on-4® dental-implant method. In fact, he was taught directly by All-on-4® inventor and pioneer Dr Paulo Malo.
Following his training, Dr Shergill knew the All-on-4® method could ultimately help more people, as it was a simpler and more affordable procedure. But as a perfectionist, and highly skilled practitioner, he waited over two years to carry out his first All-on-4® procedure. This allowed Dr Shergill to track the long-term success rate of the treatment in other dental practices around the world. Now, he provides the All-on-4® fixed same-day implant system to his patients, knowing it’s an established, long-lasting and trusted technique.
THE ‘SAME-DAY SMILE’ TEAM
Before adopting the All-on-4® methodology, Dr Shergill carried out full-mouth rehabilitation using conventional implants. This entailed an extensive, six-month course of placing implants and then letting them settle and heal. At that point, he could begin the crown and bridge work. That part of the process could take up to five sessions in the dentist's chair, with many injections and extensive bone grafting.
Today, Dr Shergill's All-on-4® patients have one set of local anaesthetic injections and one set of incisions. The single surgery session takes a maximum of two and a half hours, and the All-on-4® fixed same-day implant systems means there is no need for bone grafts in most cases. Even the stitches are self-dissolving, so patients don't have to come back to have them removed. No wonder Dr Jag and his team now call the All-on-4® method their ‘out of this world smile’ same-day service.
